Established in 1995

Canvas Dreams (UK) Ltd can trace its origins back to the early days of the Internet. We began in 1995 as a web design and development company and by 1998 we were hosting a lot of our own clients on shared server space operated from afar. Quickly we realised that we needed more and more space and started to rent dedicated servers - disk drives were small in those days!

We then discovered that the companies we were using had a number of flaws that became of great concern to us as the number of domains we hosted increased.

Bespoke Services Developed

We decided to take things into our own hands so that we had more control of our environment thus allowing us to take more care of our customers. We bought our own servers, put them in our own data facility, negotiated our own bandwidth and brought in our own people.

When looking for a web host many people simply look at price. They do not look at the most important element which is customer care. When things go wrong, as they sometimes do, our customers can be assured that we will answer their phone calls and emails and give them as much information and help as they need until we have resolved their problem.
